Career
Domestic Cricket
Virat Singh was selected in the Jharkhand U-16 team and later selected in the U-19 team at the age of 16. In 2014, he played his maiden first-class match in Vinoo Mankad Trophy. And later on the same year, he scored his maiden first-class century.
Indian Premier League (IPL)
Virat Singh made his debut in IPL on 17th April 2021 for Sunrisers Hyderabad against Mumbai Indians. On his debut, he scored 11 Runs in 12 Balls.

- Virat Singh in his childhood was very bad in his studies. Due to his poor performance in the exams, his father took his cricket bat and locked it in the storeroom. When Virat’s coach V. Venkatram came to know about this, he rushed to Virat’s father and said “Your son possesses a lot of talent, leave him to me”. Just after 2 years, he got selected in the Jharkhand U-16 team.
